A HEART OF WORSHIP - MATT REDMAN
Redman was raised in Watford, England, and was born on February 14th, 1974.
When he was about two years old, the family relocated to the little commuter town of Chorleywood. When Matt was seven years old, his father committed suicide, leaving his mother to raise him and his brother primarily.
Later, his mother remarried and the family suffered greatly as a result of the harsh marriage. The third marriage that followed this one tragically came to an end.
He became a Christian at the age of 10 after witnessing a mission service led by Luis Palau at London's QPR football stadium. Mike Pilavachi, an Anglican church youth leader, encouraged him to lead worship when he was older.
Heart of Worship (Live From The Mission) by Matt Redman, was released in 1999

Lyrics
When the music fadesAll is stripped awayAnd I simply come
Longin' just to bringSomething that's of worthThat will bless Your heart
I'll bring You more than a songFor a song in itself
Is not what You have required
You search much deeper withinThrough the ways things appearYou're looking into my heart
I'm comin' back to the heart of worshipAnd it's all about YouIt's all about You, Jesus
I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing I've made itWhen it's all about YouIt's all about You, Jesus
King of endless worthNo one could expressHow much You deserve?
Though I'm weak and poorAll I have is YoursEvery single breath
I'll bring You more than a songFor a song in itselfIs not what You have required
You search much deeper withinThrough the way things appearYou're looking into my heart, yeah
I'm comin' back to the heart of worshipAnd it's all about YouIt's all about You, Jesus
I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing I've made itWhen it's all about YouIt's all about You, Jesus
I'm comin' back to the heart of worship'Cause it's all about YouIt's all about You, Jesus
I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing I've made it'Cause it's all about YouIt's all about You, Jesus, yeahAll about You
I'll bring You more than a songI'll bring You more than a song, more than a songI'll bring You more than a songI'll bring You more than a song (than a song)
You're looking into my heart You're looking into my heartYou're looking into my heartInto my heart
I'll bring You more than a songI'll bring You more than a song, yeah, yeahI'll bring You more than a songI'll bring You more than a song
